Most Newborns Transition Successfully—Some Need Immediate Help

The majority of newborns make a successful transition to life outside the womb. However, some infants require immediate assessment, intervention, and coordinated resuscitation efforts during the first minutes after birth. Healthcare professionals must be prepared to recognize these situations and respond quickly.

You Want To Feel Confident When A Newborn Needs You Most

The first moments of life can be stressful for both healthcare providers and families. Many healthcare professionals worry about recognizing neonatal distress, selecting the appropriate interventions, and working effectively as part of a resuscitation team when time is critical.

Every Baby Deserves A Skilled And Prepared Team At Birth

Newborns only get one chance at their transition to life outside the womb. Every healthcare professional involved in neonatal care deserves education that builds confidence, teamwork, and clinical competence.

Helping Newborns Make A Safe Transition To Life Outside The Womb

Unlike cardiac arrest or pediatric emergency scenarios, the emotional core of NRP is the moment of birth—the first breath, the first assessment, and the first chance to support a newborn who needs help.

Every newborn only gets one transition. Preparation in those first minutes shapes a lifetime.

Our instructor-led NRP education focuses on recognition, teamwork, and timely intervention during the delivery room and neonatal care moments that matter most—so you can support families when their baby needs a prepared team at birth.
